I learned that white is often not white at all, but a combination
of shadow colors.

Daisies

Daisies measures 18X24 framed.
Daisies was started just as my personal life went through a dramatic change.
After masking the daisier, it took me weeks to apply paint, as I was afraid I would make it too dark and depressing.
It turned out to be my daughter's favorite painting, and the original now hangs in her home.

Sunflowers

Sunflowers measures 18X24 framed.
This one started as a class project. The attempt in class failed to look like sunflowers, but rather more like marigolds.
I tried again at home, and this time they look like Sunflowers, although one looks like it could break at any moment.
This painting is one of my least favorite, although it is a great seller wiith those who like sunflowers.
