Beaches

Beaches are such a large part of life on the West Coast. Everyone enjoys a trip to the beach.
Oregon has great public beaches, and all provide great inspiration for painting.

Beach Sunrise
#1021

Beach Sunrise measures 18X24 framed.
It was done for a class project,
but I was drawn to the photo as it had so very little blue in the water.
It now hangs at the Devers Low Vision Aid Clinic.

Cannon Beach Sunset

Cannon Beach Sunset measures 22X28 framed.
It was done using the wet on wet technique, a technique which requires you to complete the project in one session.
It is one of the few I have stayed up all night to complete.

Oregon Beach
#1023

Oregon Beach measures 16X20 framed.
It was a class projecet, learning to use masking fluid,
then roughening the edges up with sandpaper.
At the time, putting in the lighthouse, which is there, was a bit beyond my skills!

Cards are available in two sizes, 4x5 quarter sheet; invitation, or A2 size, and my new size, almost 5X6 called Card Size or known as the A6. The A6 is the size of most cards in the stores, and requires no additional postage to send to your friends. The A2 size is $2ea, and the A6 is $2.50ea.
